The 'ENVIRONMENTAL' CANTATAS of Peter Rose and Anne Conlon (Yanomamo, African Jigsaw, Ocean World and Arabica have been performed in hundreds of schools in the U.K. and around the world. Commissioned by the World Wide Fund for Nature, they tackle issues of global concern (the disappearance of the rainforests, marine pollution, the effects of urbanisation in third world countries, fair trade and the exploitation of third world peoples for the benefit of western consumerism).
